These terms describe how you may use YTSave. They are not legal advice.

The service

YTSave lets you paste a URL, inspect formats exposed by a supported source, and download a temporary file. Availability, formats, and success depend on the source website and on yt-dlp. The service may change, break, or go offline without notice.

No account

You do not need an account. Rate limits still apply per network address.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for content you have the right or authorization to download. You must not:

• Use the service to infringe copyright or other rights.
• Attack, probe, or overload the service or source websites.
• Attempt to bypass source authentication, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, or rate limits.
• Submit internal, private, or non-public network addresses.
• Use automated bulk scraping that disrupts the service.
• Upload malware or attempt to access other users’ jobs or files.

User responsibility and copyright

Only download content you have permission to download and use. Platform terms (for example YouTube’s) may prohibit downloading. You are responsible for complying with those terms and with applicable law.

Download limitations

• Maximum file size: 50GB.
• Completed files remain available for about 60 minutes.
• Request rate and concurrent job limits apply per network.
• Private, geo-blocked, or login-required media will fail.

Temporary files

Files are stored only so you can download them, then removed. Do not treat this site as backup storage.

Abuse prevention

We may rate-limit, refuse, or block traffic that threatens the service or source platforms. Job identifiers are unguessable; do not share download links that you do not control.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of uptime, completeness, or fitness for a purpose. Automated access to third-party sites can fail at any time.

Changes

These terms may change when the software or configuration changes. Continued use means you accept the current version.
