How to download videos on a phone

YTSave is a website, not an app store download. On a phone you use Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or another browser. There is nothing to install.

Copy the link

In YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and similar apps, open the video and use Share → Copy link. On the mobile website, copy the address from the browser bar.

Short links such as youtu.be or vm.tiktok.com are fine when they point at a public video.

Paste and choose a format

Open ytsave.io, paste the URL, and wait for formats to appear. On a small screen the quality list stacks so each Download button is full width.

Pick a size you can store. A 1080p or 4K file can be large on cellular data. An audio option is smaller when you only need sound.

Where the file goes

The file lands in your browser’s Downloads folder, Files app, or notification shade, depending on the phone. YTSave does not install a gallery plugin. If a download seems missing, search the device for the title or the .mp4 / .m4a extension.
